[NBA] Comments that don't warrant a thread (AUG/SEP)

This is oddly reminiscent of when Luka flopped into Malik’s knee for absolutely no good reason and effectively ended the beam team forever.

Oof, yeah that was rough. That sunk our 2024 playoff chances. And this has become even rougher with Dallas somehow managing to both eliminate us from the playoffs and win the lottery to pick Cooper Giles just a year later. Dating back to 2003 when C-Webb's reign as an MVP level player effectively ended in Dallas I really really do not like the Dallas Mavericks.

Actually, this is bothering me now... We were the 2 seed going into the 2003 Playoffs and Dallas was the 3 seed. Does anyone know why Dallas apparently got home court advantage in that series?

Kings were seeded #2 as they led the Pacific Division. However, they had won one less game (59-23) than the Mavs (60-22) and did not get homecourt advantage (based on record). Btw, I still hate a half time score of 83-61. Kings not deciding to come out over the three point line to defend Nick Van Exel still bugs me.

Because they had the better regular season record.

EDIT: Which is pretty much what @coolhandluke said.

Skinny Luka is not good Luka, Doncic problem is not weight , the weight helped him cause it was the one clear physical advantage he has over other NBA players in particular guards where he can overpower them after using his elite skills. His play style is what caused his injuries (it's also lead to a lot of success as well due to his insane skill level)by overexerting himself but dribble/hero balling way to much. He's still going to be elite but I think his problem is not weight he should be big/strong/burly.
