[NBA] Comments that don’t warrant a thread (JUN/TDOS)

Marc Stein, like most, think the Heat package could be the most enticing.
If Heat land Durant there goes likely the best trade offer for DDR.
A bunch of other guys like Zach Lowe are saying the TWolves are making a strong push for him so who really knows?

Rockets would be a great fit too. Don’t need a super team in SA
If thirty-eight year-old Kevin Durant could make San Antonio a "super team" by going there, then there's no team in the league that he couldn't make a "super team." What difference does it make whether the "super team" is in San Antonio, or somewhere else?

Because Kings fans have predetermined that Wemby/Fox is going to be the best duo in the NBA for the next decade for some reason.

Of course that’s not true, he isn’t making the Kings or 3/4 the league a super team. Wemby might be the best player in the league next season, despite his age Durant could be a top 5 scorer next year and then we didn’t even get to Fox or any of their other pieces.

Kings fans have an intriguing way of making Fox out to be a great player when it fits their narrative, and just a dude, when it doesn't.

Welp, Orlando is probably not a team interested in our guys now with the trade for Bane

If anything, it might make them more interested in a guy like Monk. With Cole Anthony gone, the only thing keeping them from having to use CoJo as their 6th man is a healthy stint by Jonathan Isaac’s leg ligaments.

Look at Phoenix not trading him to the team he picks for peanuts haha couldn’t even get the spurs pick from this year embarrassing franchise all around

Relatively speaking compared to what they gave up they're getting peanuts though, lol. Unless it does allow them to immediately add to Booker of course. Imagine if Booker had demanded out while wanting one location and the Suns got 10-50 cents on the dollar value wise. That's where the Kings were/are at with the Fox situation. The Suns still have a franchise level talent, the Kings do not unless LaVine is ready to earn that money and Domas jumps a level or two. And with LaVine it will take a year or two of top shelf play before teams consider it real and him healthy. Then it's too late anyway because that contract works against the Kings.

KD is older and expiring now so they’ll be getting peanuts compared to what they gave up regardless. My thing is why didn’t we make them give up this years pick instead of 2027 it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know this years pick was the worst they’ll be. If they don’t wanna do it trade him somewhere else it’s not like we got anything worthwhile besides the Minnesota pick seven years from now

Also, teams are far more willing to rental KD, who legitimately makes any team he goes to a top 10ish squad?

And having 3 teams as opposed to 1 is vastly different from a negotiation perspective.

Stop trying to let Fox off the hook for being a scumbag to the Kings
