Coming to Sacramento!

Not sure I posted this in the right section..

So I'm doing some back-packing for a cuple months starting this weekend!! I'm flying out to LA on Saturday, and meeting up with a buddy that lives in Orange County! We are going to be travelling all through California then all the way back to Canada. Should be a Sick experience!

One of our destinations is Sacramento, I'm super pumped to come to the city that my team plays for and watch them play.. Its been on my "Life to-do list" since I was young.. I'm going to be going to either the OKC game on the 20th or the last Lakers game !!!!!

Going to that Lakers game would be crazy.. That would blow my mind haha!

So I guess the point of this thread is.. I was wondering if there is anything I should visit in Sacramento while I'm there? Restaurants, Landmarks, Pubs.. ect anything pretty much!? I think I heard somewhere that C-Webb has a restaurant? Maybe thats just my imagination though. If anyone else is familiar with the rest of Cali, is there anything I must visit while I'm there?

Anyways let me know!! Thanks

I dont know how much time you have to spend in the area, but if you take a day to drive up hwy 49 there is a lot of history on that route.

If I'm not mistaken, CWebb's restaurant is closed. But Vlade's club/bar Tunel 21 is open, so you might check that out.

Agreed. These are great places to start to get some of the history and flavor of Sacramento.
Thirded, although I no longer know what is cool and what isn't so all I've got is the tourist traps that I grew up around. Don't make it down much anymore.

Vlade's restaurant closed a while back, he (his wife) was actually not the owner for the place for very long. Its called something else know, but I can't remember the name.

Let me be the first to point out that the syllogism:

Google failed me;
Google fails the best of us;
Therefore I am one of the best of us.

Is a logical fallacy. ;)

When taking your posts into account.....I would venture to say not in the slightest. You're good, bud!

I hope you enjoy California. There's lots to see in California as you can see just about anything. Great place to back pack, too. I'll have to think on things to see in Sacramento. The places listed above are good.
