Why do you put injury in quotes? Hughes has been playing on a bad wheel since the start of the conference finals; he is injured.

As a life-long wrestling mark, I prefer the Spurs' use of the Undertaker's theme for the visitors to the Star Wars bit, but overall, I give the nod for the introductions to the Cavaliers... I loved that Nike commercial that used that same song that the Cavs use for their starting lineup... plus, I think that "Get Ready For This" is played out beyond words.

Too bad for them it's the only aspect in this entire series that they're going to have an advantage...

Because he's played through it before, but I think it gives the coach a legitimate reason to give Gibson more PT. Some would say, it's the Finals, play on. Of course, we've all seen P.F. debilitate quite a few players.

Just play on? That's easy for you to say, you don't know what his pain threshold is. In fact, just based on the fact that he's played on it to this point and is not going tonight indicates that the pain is too severe for him to go on it.

It's not like we're talking about a sprained finger; you need your foot.

man im frustrated for LeBron i cant believe how bad his role players are. I just cant believe Damon Jones.... this guy got killed at the 3pt shootout this year after talking all this crap bout he was the best and gonna win. look at his

horrible decision by sideshow, and lucky no call by the refs on that last play where Lebron gets grabbed by Bowen and still takes a continuation 3 pointer...probably should've been a foul (and in last year's finals, would have been a flagrant on whoever was trying to foul DWade), even if it would've been a bail out call as Bowen should've just let Lebron take that shot if he couldn't get him wrapped up.

LeBron got fouled and was in the act of shooting. He picked the ball up and was going to shoot. By the definition it was a foul. With that being said this is by far the worst finals I have seen in my 27 years. I am hoping for a sweep so the misery will end.

I loved it, lol. Alot of great defense even thou some of those missed shots were uncontested. I am just a fan of the game of basketball, I would watch the hawks Vs the bocats if it was tonight.

Really i am happy they didn't call it, lol. They fouled Duncan pretty of times in the post and they where no calls. And the game was lost not because of the no call because of the open shots missed in the 4th qt.

On the other hand, the season premiere of Miami Ink (on TLC) was pretty entertaining.

I was so bored by the ugliness I watched as much or more of the A's/Astros which went 11 innings with Houston finally winning 5-4 in a thriller - relatively speaking.

So much for Daniel Gibson starting with 2 pts in 36 minutes on 1-10 FG (0-5 threes).

The leauge needs a Jordan and fast, that is the only why I see the rating coming back up. But out of the top 4 sports only footballs ratings have stayed up. I think the reason for this is that football is played once a week, has a shorter season, its on a weekened, and its die or go home playoff format.

If football had a 82 game season, played almost on a everyday basics, and had a 7 game series and every playoff round the ratings would fall. It like they say, absense makes the heart grow fonder.

A man after my own heart (except for the fact that I actually like the Bobcats)... As far as I'm concerned, the worst basketball game in history still beats out anything else on television.

Agreed, boring

I really want more finals games just so that I can watch them. However, I think that the Spurs will get the sweep. One thing I didn't see in this series (I'm not sure if I'm right or not) was a monster slam dunk by James. I think the fans and cavs teammates could have reached another level if there was a dunk.
Personal thought: If James gets a monster dunk in the first quarter, my money is on the cavs for game 4. If not, then I think the offseason really starts.

I think you're right --- a 5-point lead in the second quarter in this game for the Spurs is more than enough, considering how poorly the Spurs have been playing on offense. Cleveland isn't making shots, even layups, and I don't think the shots wills tart to fall as the game continues. Does Parker get MVP with if Duncan doesn't turn his offense around this game?
