Artest and Cisco for Tyrus Thomas and Gordon? I'd do it. What do you think?

Thats a good trade for us but i dont think the bulls do it though...their weak spot is the sg position and those two have higher value than the ones we are trading...ron is a good player but his value is not that high as compared to thomas and gordon...

i like the trade. it's questionable whether artest will mesh w/ skiles.

i would try to include a third team to take on gordon. he's looking for a big contract extension.

We would have to include one of our big guys for me to do it, as good as Tyrus is i just dont want a ton of Power forwards on this team right now.

Having Gordon and Martin on the same team is not a good mix. Gordon is also a gunner, and an undersized one at that. Rich man's Quincy Douby. Also, not sure why Chicago would want Artest when they have Deng. Artest can't play PF, even in the East, and Deng can't be moved to the back court.

How do some of you actually think Chi would do this? It's crazy, why not just trade Artest for LeBron??!

They are not in a million trillion years going to give up Ty and Gordon for Ron and Cisco.

If there were a time to strike a deal with Chicago, now would be the time as they just fired Scott Skiles. Interesting reading up on how some of the players are performing:

Hinrich shooting around 38 %
Gordon averaging less 6 points less on his 40 minute average this year.
Ben Wallace is not performing like they hoped.

Meanwhile, Paxson is the guy who traded LaMarcus Aldridge for Tyrus Thomas.....it still might work out ok but so far Portland got the better end.

I'm thinking Chicago NEEDS Mike Bibby. Not sure how they do it but I wouldn't mind getting Hinrich out of there...or Nocioni....
