Chad Iske set to become associate head coach

Seems a good candidate and has big history with Karl in Denver who also looking at another assistant. Question now is which current assistant coaches, if any, will stay?

Chad who?

Come on, you know, Chad!:

Vivek is trying to buy back fan loyalty, so I'm pretty sure Corliss stays - also seems to have rapport with Karl. Obviously Walberg stays.

EDIT: article in OP mentioned John Welch

So it seems, he came to work as an offensive coordinator for Kidd, and was retained by Hollins. I guess that makes it much more likely, he will be allowed to leave.
From another article
Welch was viewed as the “offensive head coach” under Kidd, while Hollins is viewed as more of a defensive-minded coach. Expect Welch’s role from last year to carry over into 2014 as the one primarily responsible for designing an offensive gameplan and finding overall efficiency on the offensive end.
Before that he came to Nuggets together with Karl, and looks like his main workload was player development.

According to http://www.denverstiffs.com/2013/1/25/3913736/talking-defense-with-nuggets-assistant-coach-chad-iske he was defense/scouting assistant, so him becoming a top one looks like a good signal - leading assistant will be a defensive coordinator. At the same time he was responsible for player development in Philadelphia.
Quick overview of defensive philosophy - http://www.denverstiffs.com/2013/1/24/3910378/the-lawesome-files-loading-defese

He gives a good interview and seems to have a good mind for defensive. It's a nice addition given that Karl has already shown a good mind for how to mold this roster on offense. Hopefully he can bring some balance and improve this team on the other end.

I also like that he's seasoned and has been around for a while. Given that Karl is getting older, that this guy is getting top billing amongst assistant coaches, and that he has history with both Pete and Karl, we might be looking at the top candidate for Kings HC if and when Karl hangs them up.

So would seem that new Chad becomes Summer League coach? ok. Karl will be there overviewing everything, maybe even cough up an exclusive interview for KF.

For as bad a roster that the Sixers had, one thing I noticed throughout the season is that they were very well coached. A bad coaching staff with that roster could have set a all time loss record. They were respectable on most nights.
