SLAM talks with Tyreke Evans on the set of his VBLAST! vitamin water commercial shoot which airs today.

So in another word there isn't much information. But here it is anyway.

SLAM: What are you looking forward to working on this summer to continue to expand and enhance your game?
TE: I’m just gonna try to work on my quickness more, knocking that outside shot and coming back a little bit more stronger.

Well, it IS SLAM. At least Tyreke didn't say he was hanging out at Jack in the Box in order to bulk up.

That's a fail. He's strong enough adding more muscle is the wrong direction. He needs to lose some to get quicker and improve stamina.

Unless he's planning on playing the SF.

I couldnt agree with you more. I went back and looked at some videos of his rookie season, and some games I had on my DVR. He looked much quicker and much smaller. Still a bully for his size, but his body looked so much better for his game during his rookie year. Hopefully his bulking up and weight had more to do with his foot problem than direction from the team.

He did look a lot skinnier in his rookie year compared to last year. I think since he wasn't able to practice as often as he could because of the foot/ankle, his weight went up because of the lack of activity. He looked much more "hyper" during his rookie year. Hopefully we see him return to that body type next year.
