YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ya know what is so awesome...i was watching NBA Fantasy Hoops last night and i was thinking its about time that they announce the new players of the week...and i said to myself "Brad should get it...actually in the west i KNOW he's gonna get it" and sure enough he did

YAY! for Brad...definetly had player of the week numbers

and for the next week or so ill actually enjoy the NBA TV TIMEOUT commercials when they tell you the players of the week instead of getting sick of seeing the commercial

Congrats Brad!

Cool... is this Brad's first POTW? I really hope he fakes an injury for the All-Star game and goes fishing instead.

And nba.com needs to update his picture, they've still got the "Dumb & Dumber" Brad.

When is the All Star break? And is it a week or a weekend?

I really want a couple of Kings to be given the honor, but I hated it when Brad got injured last time.

Just saw Brads POTW mentioned on NBA TV, just hearing him get attention like that brought a big smile to my face.

All-Star break is Feb. 17-20.

I hope no King gets an All-Star invite.

1) Would much rather they rest

2) Being snubbed would just add fuel to the fire...::evil grin::

they have the right to turn down the invitation, correct? thats why its an "invitation," i always assumed. i dont mind if they get voted on, just as long as they dont participate.

I've wondered that too. But I think they would fear being looked down upon as if they are turning their backs on the NBA or something like that. Now, two of our guys have legitimate injury concerns ( Webb and Peja-although at this point I'd say Webb is twice as likely to get a nod than Peja is). Mike (thought, don't think he has much of a chance with Nash and Allen in the mix), you know could always still be nursing a sore ankle and I'm sure Brad is subject to pulling a muscle going hunting. :)

ya really think webb and brad are the kinda guys who care what the rest of the nba thinks about them?!

i agree that it would be rude to simply turn your back on the nba, but webb's got a legitimate excuse with his sore knee. he needs to take the all star break off completely. and brad, while he has no legitimate excuse, should simply decline because of the team's status, and not wanting to possibly further the depth of the kings injuries. i think thats a relatively valid reason to decline. ;)

Mike's not going to skip his first All-Star game, and Webb is certainly not going to skip out on his redemption if he makes it again. Peja won't make it, but if he made it he would go too as a sign that he was still among the elite. The only guy who would possibly skip would be Brad who has a little of the Karl Malone disrespectful hick in him. :)
