Carlos Alcalá: Bobby Jackson's house is on the market, but there's no need to panic

Unreal estate news: Yes, that is Bobby Jackson's five-bedroom Granite Bay house up for sale, but fans of the Kings' Energizer Bobby apparently need not fear that the No. 1 Sixth Man has become the Kings' latest 86ed man. "He loves the area. He's going to stay in the area," said Tim Babcock, a Lyon real estate agent who lives in Granite Bay, too. The crib for sale is low-key (by the standards of Granite Bay, anyhow), as seems to befit Jackson's off-court personality. It doesn't look like a palace for a King, but if you are in the market for a few extras, there is a pool and a game room. ... Jackson may not be 100 percent low-key. Chances are his new neighbors, whoever they may be, will know he has arrived when they see the car sporting the plates, "AXN JAXN." ...

I doubt we would find out about Bobby's leaving the Kings through him selling his house. Or at least I'd hope we would find out before that. Glad hes staying, and hope he never leaves.

If prior trades are any indication, the ink would be dry on the deal BEFORE a player knew to put his house on the market.

;)

Still... with Geoff its not likely that we hear much of any indication of any sort of trade prior to it being in ink. I just think this would be the worst way; nobody actually telling anyone but suddenly Bobby lives in Denver or something.

There's a link in the NBA forum to some newsclips from News10, BigWaxer. I think it's in the Webber thread...
