I think he's talking about Jamal Crawford from the Hawks. He's actually a pretty good player. He's a combo guard with decent point guard skills. He's a decent shooter and has averaged around 19 points a game for the last 4 years, while shooting 38% from 3 pt range, and 44% overall. He's also a decent defender. The problem is that he's 30 years old, which is right on the edge of being a little too old for this team. However, I could live with the age if it wern't for the fact that he's making just under 10 mil a year and expects and extension for close to the same amount.
I suspose we could do a one year rental and see how he fits as long as you don't have to give up too much to aquire him. However, I expect that the Hawks will want equal value for him. My guess is that he'll be traded right before the trade deadline to a team that needs a little more help. Hey! Who knows? That might be us..
