can the kings still beat the mavs in a 7 game series? tho our offense has not been as smooth since webber left, we do still have bibby; who was always the engine. our 3 new guys bring nothing but hustle, block shots and rebounds. add brad miller and bobby jackson, and i think the kings are better than last year. if we were to meet dallas AGAIN in the 1st round can we still beat their tails?

here are some quotes from dallas fans across their bored after last nights game. still in denial!!

"lol@these calls

Let the ridiculously stupid Queens fans have their fun tonight.

If the Kings come against us in a playoff series, they're dead. 4 games, 5 tops".

"Oh Well We Beat The Queens 3 Times This Season. They Are Just A Despreate Team. They Cant Beat The Mavs In A Seven Game Series I Am Sorry".

Why oh why do we care what is said on a Mavs board?

And yes, we can beat them in a 7 game series. Now will we? Er...

But in any case, Dallas is not really an elite team. I think its silly to say that any good team can't beat them. They are probably a better team than we are, but as always they don't really seem to know who the hell they are going to play or how they want to play defense. Call it the Curse of Cuban -- must be very frustrating as a Mavs fan to see all that talent go to waste every year. So we can beat them. Of course we can. Any team in the playoffs can. But they'd still be the deserved favorites in a series against us. Peja isn't going to drop 38 and 9 on them every game.

we can hang with Dallas no prob. Peja matches up really well against there pansy defense. Dampier only brings it every third night. It would just come down to who can hit the clutch shots and ill ride with my man Bibby.

WORD.

all 3 previous games were played against a different kings team. the playoffs will also be played against a different kings team. the bad calls went both ways. the only thing that i know is not true is the claim that the kings go down in 4-5 games.

trash talk is trash talk

IF we get miller and bjax back for the playoffs we got them eazy...if not...i think we can still win...but it will be a harder match up....GO KINGS GO!!! i dont care who we play...and i dont care what everyone else has been sayin on this board...we are goin to the finals this year!!!

Of course we can. No question about it. It'd probably go 6 or 7 games, but this squad, as they proved last night, is more than capable of winning a playoff series against Dallas- in fact, I'd bet on them doing so. If anything, I felt that the Kings overcame bad calls last night, they weren't beneficiaries of many calls.

We can If we don't lose anymore players to injury and get the Brad back.
I know brad will be out of shape so he might be ineffective for a couple of games.
And if B-jax get back (which we all doubt) his shooting touch might be really off.
But to answer the question of a 7 game series, it would likely go the full 7...

Get real, of course the Kings CAN beat Dallas in the PO, that team is is the wosrt hode podge of great tallent possible. I have said before Dallas is the clasic example of what happens when a guy who plays fantasy basketball actualy puts a real team together. Kings are not theteam we were with Webber, but they sure as heck are not the team they were with Nash. I would hate to make great conclusions form one game but Dirk definatly is looking more like a head case and in a series runthat could REALY come back to bite him. The last 15 games ought to be a "jelling period" for the Kings new roster. Kenny, Cat and Brian still have moments where they look lost, andthere are other moments where Pedja and Mike seem to expect them to be else where, but they ARE clicking better over all, and the bench with Nast, Mo, House, Darius, and Tag is NOT bad at all, decentdefense comming in and a whole lot of energy. But hey all I ask of this years squad is to do their best one game at a time and take the play off expereince home with them for a SERIOUS run next season.

I love that first bolded sentence...when you really think about it...you are right...as for Nash...well according the team and the fans they are a better team without Nash....???
