Can/Has Mike Bibby dunked ?

can Mike Bibby dunk ? i dont recall him doing it in a game, im sure hes capable of, but i just cant remember him doing it....anybody know ?

Yes He Can ...

In fact, I remember (but I wouldn't count on it, my memory ain't all that great) one time during an interview with B-Jax the topic was dunking and there was a contest with Darrick Martin, Bobby Jackson and Mike Bibby as to who would be the first to get a dunk in a game. I believe Bobby Jackson won the contest but Bibby remarked he doesn't like to dunk cause it really drains him of energy and endurance that he'd rather use for playing rather than show.

I don't blame him ... some of those moves he makes are just AMAZING. The way he twists and curls himself-up and tosses it up there and the ball somehow manages to go in are pretty spectacular.

I think he dunked in the game against the wizards (the one they lost) last season. I was at that game, and I missed it (I dunno what I was doing). My dad said he dunked it, and other people I talked to said he did too.

Can he? Yes

Will he? Probably not.

The way I see it....given all these blocks he's currently done, one could say that he could dunk if he really wanted to. Only problem....just doesn't seem like the flavour of choice in terms of getting his two points.
His lay-ups are good enough for me...just as long as he actually makes them.

Of course he can dunk. So can Bobby Jackson. I can almost dunk and I'm only 6'1" and they are professional basketball players. I just don't think they want to, maybe scared they will miss it.

It was too funny when after dunking he said he was getting too old to dunk anymore, when he was like 24. When was his dunking prime, age 13? Oh man, you should have seen his hops back then.

i can only recall 1 dunk in a kings jersey from Mike..
He's got the hops but I think that he thinks he'll miss the dunk like Elise

Why would he be more worried about missing a dunk (higher percentage shot) than he is a lay-up?

A dunk is only a higher percentage shot if you can do it. For me, the lay-up is a higher percentage shot. I assume the same is true for the Bibbster.

I've seen him dunk, it mostly involved getting the ball right to the rim, nothing 'extra' Seems like more trouble than it's worth for him.

I think the only reason Mike would dunk would be to show off, and he doesn't strike me as someone who is motivated by making the highlight reel.

One of the things I like about him, actually.
