Brad Miller for Troy Murphy?

Should the Kings go after this trade? Miller avg. 9.1 ppg, 6.4 rpg, and 3.6 apg in the 2006-2007 season and Murphy avg. 10.3 ppg, 6.1 rpg, and 1.9 apg. The stats are similar but at least Murphy is younger than the aging Miller. Also, would you add someone in the trade?

No, Murphy is...an awkward fit anywhere. I simply could not understand why there was any interest in him and that contract at all. He can rebound, but can't defend and shoots sub 45%. Brad's megadeal is a little shorter than Murphy's, I believe. And Brad can slip back and play a role as facilitator in worst case scenario (that worst case being we're forced to keep him). Would very much like to clear out Brad, and would even cheerfully dump him on the Pacers so that they could put together the palest most unatheltic team since Bird's Celtics went away (except not quite as good). But not for a guy like Murphy, who solves nothing and inflicts another nasty contract on you for the honor.
