Brad has plantar fasciitis

Actually, Pedja evnetually had the ultrasound extra corporeal shock wave therapy. Seemed to start inproving after that. I guess studies indicate that it may be no more effective than other treatments, tho.

This article says that resolution (with treatment) can take from 6 to 18 months. :( :( However, the sooner treatment starts, the better. I just remember Duncan suffereing pretty much all season last year. :(

I posted the article.

Not sure if that's 100% gospel though just because of the way its worded: " I am told" etc.

In any case, plantar fasciitis is no joke and significantly hinders guys even if they don't sit out, so a couple of weeks would be well wihtin the realm of possibility. And also of course with that injury the chance of it lingering and continuing to detract over a long stretch of the season is always lurking.
If your going to pull the trigger on a trade now would be the time. Your right it is a nagging injury that has plauged players for really, really, long periods of time. Contrary (sp?) to popular belief we have to very tradable PF's although neither one of them is an elite PF, both could serve a purpose in the right situation. Put a package together and look for a "big".

The injury to center Brad Miller, from what I'm told, could keep him out for at least a couple of weeks.

ACK! Lordie, lordie. Why us? Well, I guess I know the answer to that... why now?

We need confidence before we can lose a major piece!

I'm not a fan of Brad Miller and feel he's truly overrated and overvalued around here ... but it's not a good thing to lose Miller for an extended period.

Even if we had him come off the bench, at least we have something in reserve. Now SAR is on the floor and our bench might as well consist of me and my puppydog.

Although, you might be right ... it might force us to make a move. I'm no fan of Kandi, but we might want to look at picking him up.

just go back to the pre-richmond era, oh wait so many of you jumping off the bandwagon don't even remember that era....you know when we had Antoine Carr starting at Center....yeah those days when Mike Peplowski was the fan favorite.
And you had Bill Russell, who never lied that he basically stole Sacto's money to come out of retirement.

Time to bring in someone Geoff, heck bring back Justin Williams..anything;
Unsigned rookie vs SAR at the 5....Either way we are kinda screwed til Miller gets back.

Should Petrie actually choose to address this most recent big man problem my bet is that he gets us another undersized PF who, at least 5 seasons ago, once scored over 15 ppg but doesnt rebound or block shots.

Then he'll play out of position at the 5 for us.

We can give Pot some minutes. Maybe he'll show something that will increase his value for a deadline trade.

Somehow I doubt we'd bring Williams or Amundson back, they'd have played for the minimum so it wouldn't have killed us to keep them if they had any shot of sniffing the floor. Surely with Brad's history they knew he'd get hurt at some point.
