We've had ONE superstar in the past 10 years who might be in the same league as Pierce. He's sitting next to Ernie on the TNT set right now. Peja and Bibby? No...just no.

Your telling me, when Bibby and Peja were at the top of their game, you wouldn't compare them to Pierce and Allen as they are now? Bibby was clutch and Peja would shoot be money from the start until about the 5 minutes mark of the 4th. I know its a stretch, but I'm not comparing their careers, I'm comparing their play without KG/Webber. Kings faired well, but obviously fell (no pun intended) short. Same with these Celtics.

Pierce and Allen are aging and were inconsistent. Allen vanished this series until tonight and Pierce had been playing very sloppy, getting into foul trouble and whatnot. They didn't play like HOFs this series. They needed KG. Its as simple as that. Had they had KG, there would be no doubt they win it all.

When you depend on the 3 point shot to win games, you'll lose. This has always been the case. If this game was close, there's no go-to guy Magic have expect for Hedo taking shots 15+ feet away from the field.



Dwight will get his rebounds, but he needs to score a lot more than he does. This team doesn't go to him as much as they should. They shoot the 3, if it goes in, they have a very good chance at winning. If they miss, they don't.

Looks like the Magic won 4 out of 7 vs the Celts where in most games they couldn't hit 3s. It was the only reason why the series was even close. They hit 3s this game and depended on them, and they blew the Magic out. You say you can't win with the 3, this is kinda true but it won game 7 for the Magic. Seems like a cop out. Also Perkins is one of the few post guys who gives Dwight a lot of trouble, even so Dwight had a solid series. Next series vs Z, Ben and Anderson I think he might feast a little more. But will have to see.

That is precisely what I'm saying. Bibby and Stojakovic, at their peak, don't compare to Pierce or Allen, at any point in their respective careers.

Big ups to Hedo for his game 7 performance tonight (9-12 from the floor are old Peja-esque #s, albeit probably not in a game 7 that I can think of off the top of my head). Sure didn't hurt that Pietrus shot lights out as well. I'd have preferred to see the Rockets knock out the Lakers, but I'm almost as happy to see the Celtics and suit-wearing, trash talking KG head home for the summer. Go Nuggets.

You and me both, it was really getting old...and was it just me or almost everytime I saw Mikki Moore he was also yapping his mouth? I'm so glad he didn't win it either.
