Eh no. Sloevnia has to foul more so we have more FTs, but the calls have been pretty bad. The refs don't know how to ref NBA level athletes and so USA keeps getting bad calls.

Not that I think that we should look past Lithuania (because they could **** around and beat us), and not that I think we should take any of the remaining teams lightly but, seriously... if they don't win gold now, they can't come home.

It is quite amusing how people keep ignoring that basketball is a team sport and still get tied to superstars are end of it all. One would think that Spurs would remind people of that.

Yes, USA is still favorite to win, but those of you who expect cake walk against either France or Serbia (both representing heavily team oriented games) might be quite surprised.

I'm actually bummed Spain is out. I wanted to see TeamUSA smack them down. Unlike what seems like the majority POV, I didn't believe Spain was going to give the US all that much trouble. I thought we'd win by at least 15. Now we don't get to see it.

Maybe. On the other hand, Spain was the only team big enough to keep Fareid and Cousins off the glass. The whole notion that Fareid wasn't going to be able to be "FIBA Fareid" against Spain, well, that goes out the window.
