Bogdan needs surgery

I remember many issues like this taking about that long in the past, but recently it seems like some players I've seen have this issue are out like 2-3 months if not 4.

Google says this:

"Rehabilitation time for a meniscus repair is about 3 months. A meniscectomy requires less time for healing — approximately 3 to 4 weeks."

Is the latter what Bogdan already had? If so then this might suck.
I would think he had a meniscectomy to start as it appeared he was back in action pretty quickly.

I have had a menisectomy as well as two meniscal repairs. It took me 6-8 months to get back to playing after my meniscal repairs. It took me 1 month after a meniscectomy but the downside is that it accelerates arthritis as you are essentially removing a portion of the shock absorber in your knee.

If he had a meniscectomy to start, the torn piece would be removed thus there wouldn’t be anything to retear/rehurt.

If I'm Buddy I'm thinking Bogs is never again going to start for the Kings because I'm going to be the starter and am never again going to the bench. And if I'm Jackson I'm thinking that Bogs is never going to take minutes away from me at the 3 after I show the coaching staff what I can do at the beginning of season. The opportunity is all there for these guys, so let's see if they can grab it.

Well, I'm just guessing at what he had, but my guess is that his original surgery was a meniscectomy, which is what I'm familiar with. I can't imagine that the procedure on monday will any more invasive than that. Which is why I guessed around 4 weeks. I'm trying to be optimistic here....

Well, I think the plan was for Bog's to start at the SF position anyway.

This is the Kings, need I remind you. haha.

Well he’s going to be getting that rest we all have been saying he needs. I hope it’s not serious and if not I would like to see him without the pain when he plays.

We need him healthy and a few weeks or months if that’s what it takes I want a rested, healthy player and we just maybe get to see a very good player develop.

The fact that the Kings just "overahuled" their medical staff was BOTH excised from the first Bogdan injury thread and then CLOSED. Suuuuuuch a Kingsfans.com move. Very on brand.

And then you complained about it, which, as soon as I saw the thread had been closed, I knew you would do.

You're welcome to find another brand if you don't like this one.

But the Bodgan injury is still being discussed here in this thread so what's your point?

Don’t rush it Bogdan, I think we can be competitive still in your wake. I’m a part of the what seems minority Jackson fan club though that feels he can continue upon that SL and fully be a quality role player though. Justin prove me right

It may not be just my boy Jackson trying to get at that starting job, but something tells me Iman might be bringing some tough, career rejuvenated heat
