Lets say in the next few weeks he is finally able to move his left wrist. Do you really think he's going to be in NBA shape at that point? It will take another 3-4 weeks for him to get into shape to play. I doubt Bobby is going to be on the playoff roster this year unless he comes back and plays well in the final week of the regular season. Pretty slim odds that will happen. Maybe if Brad weren't also on the bubble for his return they would consider holding a spot for Bobby. But the Kings cannot afford to waste 2 spots on guys slated to return "sometime" during the playoffs. House is a poor man's Bobby Jackson, but he is healthy and playing with the team now - Bobby isn't.

But, just believing he will be ready will not make it so. He has not played for a long time, and he has not played with the new guys at all.
I want him to be ready, of course. But, I want to win even more. It is not about an individual player, but about how each player can contribute to the TEAM!
GO KINGS!!
Padrino said:considering how well eddie house is beginning to mesh with the team, i believe it would be more pertinent to simply leave bojax off the playoff roster, and let him heal up to 100% so he can be ready for next season. why disrupt the team chemistry further, ya know? that's not to say that bobby wouldnt fit in with this new-look team, but the playoffs are not the time to test these things. i just dont think it would be right or fair to leave off any of the guys who have seen floor-time in light of bobby's absence. the only player i would consider leaving off the roster would be o-tag....but that, imo, is something you dont do to a veteran player like o-tag who has brought nothing but good things to the kings locker room. thats just my opinion. if we decide to hold on to bobby in the offseason, then he can better serve the kings next season.
SacTownPimpin said:You dont leave a player like Bobby jackson off the playoff roster no matter what. you cant teach talent and hes the 6th if not 4th or 5th best player on this team. No matter how much hes played with the rest of the team he'll still bring alot more good then he will bad even if he only plays 5 to 10 mins. Plus he has playoff expierience. You cant teach that as well. Who would you rather have in the game A rookie like martin who has in reality (besides practice) not played much with this team either, un less you count 2 to 3 mins in a blowout, or someone along the lines of Bobby jackson who has been in this situation before. Dont forget as well last year when bobby came back in the regular season for just that one game how good he played een after being out for a couple months.

Until Bobby has actually stepped onto the court, I don't see how the Kings could arbitrarily assign him a playoff roster slot. We don't KNOW what Bobby will be able to do right now. Hopefully he'll be able to get in some actual scrimmage time real soon.
Luckily, we don't have to make the decision. The coaching staff and the trainers will decide if he's on the playoff roster - and I trust them to make the right decision.
SacTownPimpin said:Yeah But Bobbys going to keep getting healthier everyday, and who would you rather have on the roster if we make it past first round, a rookie who isnt even going to play or someone whos gonna bring energy off the bench. I aint taking anything away from house. I love the guy actually, but he isnt no Bobby jackson. Atleast having him on the roster gives the kings a chance say we do make it far., and its not like house isn't going to be there if bobby doens't do good, but martin wont even play unless were blown out. So i say give the spot to someone who has a chance to contribute, But thats just my oppinion.
