IMO, I think that is how it should be - DNP's and no more than garbage time for BJax. His skills no longer make any big-big difference inside the court as compared to the young ones.
My guess? Because he hasn't hidden his displeasure with how Reggie is "coaching" the team. His comments about inconsistent playing time, etc. definitely rankled the other guy who wore #24, and I honestly think he was benched because of it.
Why? Because he has been absolutely terrible all season with the exception of the New Orleans game. He doesn't take shots in rythm anymore and he selfishly jacks up 3's in the corner all day despite shooting like 13% from 3 point range.
He doesn't deserve the minutes and it's not about playing the young guys. Bobby Brown has been a better player all year and deserves those minutes.
Bobby has sucked so far this season.
We're all aware.
But guess what? The entire team has sucked all year as well.
I want the last remaining link to the glory years on the floor as a backup PG the rest of this year.
Just for the memories sake.
Seriously...Bobby Brown is the person he would be 'blocking' by getting minutes and if anyone expects the guy to turn into anything special, I have 24 acres of pristine ocean property to sell to you at a bargain basement price.
It goes against the 'rebuild' philosophy, but when youre running out Moore and Miller and Salmons every night...What does it matter
Just give Bobby minutes.
For the fans.

there are other possible explanations. The youth movement (albeit very suspicious that Reggie would suddenly realize it and the player targeted), Bobby's ineffective crunchtime play against Utah (leading to the Douby disaster). But retaliation is my bet. Just too suspicious in its timing, in Bobby's reaction to it, in him being literally the only King not to touch the floor that night. An if true its very much in line with what I predicted this summer -- that Reggie could view Bobby as a threat, a guy with his own power structure, own base of support and claim for the fans' loyalty. A guy who might not feel compelled to toe the Reggie line.
I like what Jerry Reynolds just said when Q'ed by Grant Napear as to why Bjax was a DNP last game. Basically, it was because he ("and a vet like Moore") won't be playing as much going forward as youth movement gets fully underway in Sac and said vets don't look to be in the Kings long term plans.
Oh come on, PH. Reggie tried virtually every combination possible to find something that worked. The only one who didn't get thrown into the equation was Bobby J. Sounds like more than limited minutes for vets to me...
