Its possible its a legit report, but when you have those things -- anonymous sources providing long lists of teams showing interest in a guy, 9 times out of 10 that the agent trying to give the impression his guy is in demand. And believe it or not agents are prone to just making stuff up if they feel it will help.

I doubt he comes here when he can sign for a contender. But playing the what if game, a Reke/MLM backcourt with Billups/MT off the bench would be a great backcourt rotation. That would actually be evidence that PDA wants to bring a vet PG to help Reke excel at the point, and Billups would be perfect as a former scorer and someone labelled as a player who could never learn the position, who turned into an NBA champion PG.

Think it was Terrell Brandon in Minn who mentored Billups on the PG position. Would be great if Chauncey did the same for Reke. Also more evidence we're moving on from IT. Doesn't appear to be in the plans.
