is it just me, or did it seem like walton was very pro-kings last nite in his commentary?

Walton always says good things about teams that are playing well. Last night, the Lakers (Kobe) played very well, and the Kings played very well. Not much to complain about, it was a real humdinger of a game.

Walton was less annoying than usual... but it's true, he kinda ebbs and flows with whoever is doing well.

Whoever his co-announcer was (sounded like Mussberger, but wasn't) was a pushoever I thought. Just went along with everything Bill said.

Walton is ALWAYS complementery to who ever is playing best in the games leading up to what ever game he is announcing. When Aliens come to conquesr Earth Walton will b caling them, "Born leaders, who should be follwed. Intreped traverlres who have braved the innumeral dangers of of distant space travel to bring their special vison to earth. A domamnat force we human just need to respect. Come on down big green man come on down!" He reminds me of Scud in Blade 2. "I'd rather be a pet than cattle."

Bill Walton is overly absorbed with the resonant sounds of his own voice. His prowess as an announcer is exceeded only by his modesty. His bombastic tones can curdle milk and his haberdashery tastes are mind-boggling at best. He is to basketball broadcasting what Michael Jordan was to professional baseball.
