Plus, Bibby's not a fast transition sort of player, so he'll rarely get fast break assists either.

Bibby played a VERY GOOD game tonight. Afterwards, Jim Kozimor and Kara even addressed the assists issue. They brought up several factors, among them that Peja is generally one of the people who is on the receiving end of Bibby passes. When he's out, Bibby isn't going to have as many assists because the whole offense shifts.

Instead of looking just at the stat lines, read the game discussion threads and the PBP. I think you'll get a much better feel for the game.

The Kings were able to fight back tonight because Bibby, Bonzi and Cisco Garcia WANTED it. And I think they each deserve some credit instead of some silly fixation on a number in a column in a box score.

Brad should be running the offense, I think Bibby and the rest of the Team is more effective. One of issues I think is that eventhough reef has shown he can be a good passer, he still hasn't been integrated into the offense as well as I would like. This team is coming along, it's just a matter of time.
