Who would you rather see the kings really try to go after out of the two?.. IMO i would rather some how try to get Ben Wallace and get Brad really working out over the summer and move him to the power forward spot...

i know its fat chance, but if some how Petrie could get this line up together they would kill next year...

PG - Mike Bibby
SG - Bonzi Wells
SF - Ron Artest
PF - Brad Miller
C - Ben Wallace

I really don't think it's a contest. KG is younger, better, hungrier, as good as Ben Wallace on D only far better on offense.

Ben Wallace will want a HUGE contract, and the guy is already very old. He will probably decline quickly, while KG has more years left and is a better player.

And Garnett wont??? Also, Wallace is only 2 years older then Garnett is, he is a better defender and i think we would have to give up less to get him. Dont get me wrong, i would love to see KG in a Sacramento jersey, but not at what i think it would cost us.

Garnett has a big contract right now, yes, but that is because he is an elite player, and one of the best in the league. Ben Wallace is a defensive stopper, but thats about all. He is 2 years older, which is a big difference. Wallace will want a contract that lasts awhile at maybe 12 mil a year. By the time its done, he can be 37 years old or so.

KG, his offense greatly outweighs Ben's defense and KG's defense is very good as well. Big Ben has a slight advantage on defense, but they are close. KG is younger than Big ben as well so thats a plus.

Out of the two? KG. But only if Big Ben gets a similar sized deal, he may very well get overpaid. WAY overpaid.

kg every day of the week and twice on sunday. big ben is a great defensive player, but so is kg, and any defensive weaknesses kg may have are far outweighed by his offensive skill and prowess, which ben wallace lacks entirely.

Ben Wallace is already a step or two slower than he was in his prime. Look at his rebounding in the Finals last year. Look at how he played against Big Z and Shaq in the playoffs. He's not the same player that everyone fell in love with and some were pushing as an MVP at one point.

KG is the obvious choice, to me.

That and add that there is no love lost between Artest and himself and you get an obvious no-brainer here.

Ben Wallace is great but there's no question about who's better. Its KG. His overall game beats Wallace's by a million times.

well lets see

Garnett

21.8 ppg 12.7 reb 4.1 ast 1.4 blk 1.4 stl 52.6% fg 81% ft

Ben

7.3ppg 11.3 reb 1.9 ast 2.2 blk 1.8 stl 51% fg 41.6% ft

hmm it could take a while but i will pick one i am sure

No one ever said that Wallace was better then Garnett, there was never a question on that...

I get what you're saying but IMO there's no question that any deal to get KG is better than any deal to get Ben Wallace. The Big Ben I saw in the playoffs wasn't a great player. His defensive/rebounding stats were down and he's a horrible offensive player.

Garnett. Big Ben plays great defense, but KG has a much better all-around game. Did you see Wallace at the free throw line in the playoffs? Ugh.
