Bash Everone/Everything thread (so we don't have so many negative threads)

Define "bashing" and provide examples of how it exists on this board.

Are you trying to be obtuse? It's everywhere, and certainly an unfortunate turn for this website, where posters brought comments of substance, more than just "everything sucks" emotaposting that has been going on lately.

It's the equivalent of trades in the personnel forums without fact checking to make sure salaries work, in the form of "Let's trade Luther Head for Luther Vandross." We can certainly do better as an internet community, and have done so in the past.

If there were no "emotapostings" as you put it, this wouldn't be the internet. But for the most part, I don't see a lot of "everything sucks" posts. It's obvious that this team has a lot of problems, and yes, there are heated debates about the roots of these problems. Fans are also allowed to be emotional and frustrated, it's part of being a fan, and it's certainly not synonimous with giving up on the team. If someone gave up on the team they wouldn't bother posting on here.

Also, unless it's some baseless, outlandish BS like "trade Cousins for a bag of chips", I don't see anything wrong with short, emotional posts. I don't know any internet forum that doesn't have those, and TBH I wouldn't want everyone to write a 2-page essay every time they want to make a point that has already been discussed to death dozens of times on here.

'Bashing' and constructive criticism are 2 completely different things. I don't mind constructive criticism and I think we should offer our critiques but the bashing is uncalled for. The team is young and they were dumb in the final moments of the last game, however if you have watched enough basketball then you know to expect things like that. I'm not surprised at all how this season is going, but I still believe they will go on a nice run after the new year and all these people on here that are 'bashing' the team will feel like complete morons for doing so.

I have watched plenty of basketball, and what I saw last night was never to be expected. CHILDREN do not do that sort of thing in games. High schoolers don't do what you just saw. Actually, if you have watched basketball, you are knowledgeable enough to know that it isn't just dumb mistakes, but a collapse of epic proportions that points to very, very low basketball iq.

Young and dumb only goes so far in the courtroom, and it in the NBA, even less so. Last night was not young and dumb. I could have put 5 fans in the game for those last 30 seconds, and we would have won. The sad thing? This is not hyperbole.

The three dumbest moves, weren't committed by young guys, though. They were committed by Landry, Beno, and Garcia. The guys that are supposed to be the vets. that know better.

I think this thread should be more of a "venting" thread rather than a thread committed to playing the blame game. Just because you vent doesn't mean your not a good fan or supporter. Every single person has the right to vent when things are going as awful as it is, it helps a person vent because if you let it build up your bound to explode eventually.
