K......here is what he knows..was a 2 min conversation as he said its very busy and multiple scenarios still being explored.

Minny,GSW,SAC,BOS still in AI derby. Others still involved indirectly in 3 ways...didnt get into who they were.

Variation of the earlier Kings deals being discussed.......adding GSW into the mix. It was something like this...dont quote me on it...but I think he said the following:

Sixers give Ollie,Dalembert,Bobby Jones or Steven Smith,Iverson
Sixers gets Bibby,Kenny Thomas,Fran Garcia,Ike Diogu,#1 pick

Kings give Bibby,Garcia,Kenny Thomas
Kings get Baron,Dalembert,Ollie

GSW give Baron,Ike,#1
GSW gets Iverson,Bobby Jones or Steven Smith

Minny still trying to find something to add to Foye from another team including a #1 from somewhere.

Boston still wants to hold onto Jefferson. Not looking likely for Boston..called them last place out of the 4 still vying as of now.

The two team SAC deal still alive too..if they want to cut out GSW. But the big news right now..is some variation of the 9 player deal above.

*shrug* I'll take Baron, only would worry about his health to some degree. I've always liked him and respected him, just haven't thought much of his team the last 2 years :p.

He and Ron are friends supposedly, too. I remember reading that back around when Ron was going to be traded and the Warriors were a possibility. Baron can be a good defender under the right situation, too. Just hasn't really been under the Warriors. But I remember seeing bits and pieces, and reading about his defense back with the Hornets and at UCLA. Aside from all that, he's very athletic and strong.

Despite his contract, I like getting Dalembert. Have always liked him for the most part.

AI can go to Oakland - have a possible playoff run or two or none, and that's it. ;)

Not interested in Baron. Far too injury prone, would rather Bibby walk and take our chances in free agency than take on Baron's contract knowing he's likely to miss a full season's worth of games in the remaining 2.5 years.

As much as I'd like to ditch KT and get Dalembert, I don't want Baron's poor FG%, injuries, and price tag. He likely wouldn't improve the team a great deal, so if the team ends up sucking, I'd rather have the freedom of Bibby off the books.
