Only tangentially related... but when I think of back-to-back rookie of the year awards I automatically think of the A's winning it three years in a row with Cansucko (sorry, couldn't resist), Mark McGwire, and Walt Weiss. The A's have made a habit of winning ROY awards and then trading those players for awhile now. They also had back-to-backs more recently with Bobby Crosby and Huston Street but neither of them turned out all that well. But anyway, yeah, only tangentially related. Back to the Kings, I don't think they're going to be trading Evans so there's nothing to worry about there. Back to back wins would be pretty cool for sure. Especially if it leads to championships in the near future.
But that's a lot of unhatched eggs to be counting now.
