I'm curious who is going to do all the calculations on salary caps/trades/FA etc? Has that name been announced?
Maybe Ai does that now haha

Start scanning podcasts. Seems like that's the main requirement on most office hirings right now.I'm curious who is going to do all the calculations on salary caps/trades/FA etc? Has that name been announced?
BJ Armstrong has been an agent for the last two decades so he’s probably got a firm understanding of salary numbers. Perry has also been in the league long enough to know how things work.I'm curious who is going to do all the calculations on salary caps/trades/FA etc? Has that name been announced?

I was thinking along the same lines as Tetsu...I don't think this is gonna be a "one person does it all" task...I think both Perry and Armstrong will work together in this department.BJ Armstrong has been an agent for the last two decades so he’s probably got a firm understanding of salary numbers. This isn’t quite a Vlade situation where we’re getting a guy coming in cold with absolutely no idea how the league works.
Woodson has been the lead defensive guy in prior head coaching stints and was notoriously averse to running modern offenses until his last season and a half or so with the Hoosiers. Feel like this is definitely more of a defensive culture move (going off of Perry’s comments on what he wants the team to be during his presser) than an offensive coach deal. I do wonder who they’re going to bring in to help there even if I feel like a Domas-led offensive system sorta sorts itself out on its own regardless.
The entire 2003-2004 Kings rotation aside from CWebb and Anthony Peeler is going to be living in Sacramento next season if Songaila is also joining the coaching staff as reportedso this is Bobby's third stint with the Kings? hmm...I suppose this is his happy place
They felt the roar, and just wanted more!!!The entire 2003-2004 Kings rotation aside from CWebb and Anthony Peeler is going to be living in Sacramento next season if Songaila is also joining the coaching staff as reported
This is apparently that entire team’s happy place haha

We don't have a huge pool of franchise success to pull from, so I take it as a positive that there are a few former players out there who still consider Sacramento not just a box to check in their careers, or even worse an ordeal to endure, but a home that they'd like to return to in their continuing basketball careers. I'm happy to have Bobby Jackson back home.

Those Kings might not have a championship but they displayed a positive brotherhood on and off the floor. You can't deny the heart and chemistry even after all these years. I loved the old guys showing up for the recent play-in game against the Mavs. Too bad the current team didn't show up on the floor. We don't have a huge pool of franchise success to pull from, so I take it as a positive that there are a few former players out there who still consider Sacramento not just a box to check in their careers, or even worse an ordeal to endure, but a home that they'd like to return to in their continuing basketball careers. Um, Domas is pretty much known as gritty give it their all type player throughout his career.Christie and Bobby were both known as gritty give it their all type players. That’s great. Their roster is full of guys who quit on Mike Brown because he practiced them too hard and then complained that Christie didn’t practice enough. Need to eliminate those guys(Domas) so that the roster matches their personalities.

Got his head coach fired it appears.Um, Domas is pretty much known as gritty give it their all type player throughout his career.
Can only go on what we know at this point.I don’t think it ever came out what exactly happened did it? I think I heard Domas lives in Napa so when the team had a stretch of home games he wanted to spend more time with his young kids, but Mike Brown pretty much wanted to practice daily or any chance the team had. I get where MB is coming from, but also as a father I get where Domas is coming from. And unless we get it confirmed we’re on the outside and don’t have all the facts of exactly what happened.
Which isn’t much at this point? We’ve heard little bits of hearsay which may or may not be true. Can only go on what we know at this point.

What slander?Whole lot of reaching there on "What we know"
The Domas slander continues to be astounding.
No one gives a damn about Sabonis in the FO or ownership group. It's way above his pay grade. The lazy media first blamed Fox for the firing and then pivoted to Domas.Got his head coach fired it appears.
