Things are heating up now that the Lakers are approaching a decision on Turiaf. Seems like everyone believes that Artest will soon be unavailable and are throwing in their chips.

Well, a) that's hoopsworld, b) where would he play? Off the bench? and c) what could they possibly offer after scorching their franchise of nearly everything young in order to put together their Big 3 and win a title?

Erm...they did just win an NBA Championship. That's about the biggest something there is in professional basketball.

If somehow Artest landed in Boston I would be no longer a Kings Fan because 3 of my top 4 fav players would be in boston (KG 1, Shaq 2, Ron 3, Ray Allen, 4) hahaha. But thee is no way the celtics are gonna do it. They couldn't offer anything and he couldnt play anywhere

we would need a third team and they would probably need to trade ray allen... can a team include an additional team into trades without the other team knowing?

I meant the thread, the conceived idea being the thread. Looks like 3 ways only for Boston. Not feasible.

I think they only made that "offer" to appear as though losing Posey did not mean much to them. Other than that, I always thought Pierce and Artest didn't get along.
