GS trades: Al Harrington, Brandon Wright

Sac trades: Ron Artest, Quincy Douby

and maybe agree to trade KT for their trade exception in another deal

They try to win now with Artest (reacting to the Gasol trade). And no, I wouldn't do that trade. Would you trade Brian Grant, Lamar Odom, and Caron Butler for Shawn Marion?

they don't need artest. don't you think they could get better trade for brandon wright than artest?

I doubt they would move Harrington for him, althoough they might with Webber in town. Actually I would think they would be working to reunite the Harrington/Artest/Jackson trio along with Baron and Monta. If we were gettign Harrington it becomes a shakier deal for a tweener with a bad deal.

Would think the guys we would be getting/after would be Pietrus and Wright. And yes, in a bleeping second I would do that. Question is if the Warriors are really in that much of a win now mode. And of course how scared they are of Artest screwing up their chemistry. But that of course is a constant question for everybody.

Did you Webber play last night? Greg Ostertag has more game left. Ben Gillery has more of a post game. And Juwan Oldham has more vertical.

I think Geoff Petrie would be interested in something like Monta Ellis/Wright for Artest/Douby. Of course, the Warriors would be foolish to trade Ellis....

That'd be more likely, I agree. That's actually what I initially thought of, because Pietrus is expiring and the warriors don't use him anyway. The salaries don't match up though

Pietrus and Wright come VERY close to matching up wihtin slary cap rules -- 5.8mil for the pair to Ron's $7.8. to be wihting 25% (which oyu have to be) it would have to $5.85 mil, so I guess ome extra warm body wouold have to be included.

As for the why's -- it would have to be the playoff fever in the West and win now. Not that Ron is old, just that Wright is the future.
