tradepeja said:how come some of you so-called kings fans are so quick to forgive players like Bonzi Wells with his previous attitude problems, you forgive peja when he demands a trade a year and and half ago, you forgive webber when he comes back and destroys the team chemistry in 2004, you forgive peja again when he goes from all-star to all-scrub....I know artest's past action's are way over the top and his past worse than even Bonzi Wells's, but if you're gonna forgive some, you gotta forgive all
its like what any good parent would say, you can't play favorites with your kids...what you do to one do to the other...give this guy a break, he hasn't even had a chance to screw up anything in Sacramnto yet (barring him almost demolishng the trade), maybe he can change, sacramento is the place to do it
It has NOTHING to do with forgiveness. I DO want Artest to be a productive and happy member of the Kings. I just have stronger doubts about his ability to do it. We really can't compare the pasts of Peja, Webb, or even Bonzi to Artest. Just doesn't compute.
I guess, in all honesty, I am not too upset with Artest. He has behaved leading up to and during this trade as one would expect Artest to behave. My disappointment is actually stronger for the Kings organization.
Again, I hope to all things royal, that he proves my skepticism wrong. Once he steps on the court, he is a King and I will hope for his success. I am just not a point where I am ready to celebrate his being here.
