Someone on another board made a remark that it is the number of games he was suspended/deactivated this year and last. Didn't check for accuracy.

If so, crazy like a fox?

Even ordering some jerseys cannot go smoothly with this guy. I wonder how many times he changes his order in a restaurant. Take 3 hours just to get everyone their food.

Okay, in an attempt - probably useless - to clarify, the only ones who said Artest's number would be 15 were, I believe, people trying to predict which number he would select.

As far as I know, 93 is the first and only number Ron himself indicated to the Kings that he wanted.

I think I heard Grant or Jim Kozimor state that Ron picked #15.

just go to the kings.com merchandise store. its not that hard to see the picture of the artest jersey.

Gary Gerald said last night on the radio broadcast that Ron would be wearing number 15...he went on about all of the past Kings players who have worn number 15, most recently Erik Daniels. Didn't sound like speculation to me.

But I suppose it doesn't matter...it is, after all, just a number. 93 is fine with me!

Actually last night the guy who was making the Jersey's was on the news with a gold jersey #15 with the name Artest on the back on a mannequin body. He was originally supposed to be 15.

Eh...well, I guess we'll get confirmation of all this when he suits up tonight. Hey, maybe he'll combine 93 and 15, and be the first guy to be in the '100's' on his jersey.:D

I'm not conflicting that he's 93 now. I was speaking of last night's news. It's 93 at the Kings team store, so that's the number. I just meant to point out that he WAS at one time supposed to be 15, it wasn't just speculation.

On channel 13 news said that they had the jerseys printed ready to ship, and then decided that he wanted to wear another number, so the news said they were rushing to get the new number to him. So i figured that they wouldnt lie about that :)

Just heard on the rise guys that he wanted 69...but that was turned down...for obvious reasons. Then he wanted 23, but KM has that, so hes going to stay put with 15.
