It should be made public that McCarty is not welcome at the Arena. He can stay home with his BS made up memories of the Kings. You are not part of this fan base.

McCarty is no better than previous city council member (former mayor) Heather Fargo - totally worthless and reason Sacramento has been small-minded backwater for ages. At least Cohn has slowly come around but naysayer Fong will probably be big downer when he finally speaks. Looks like it's gonna be 7-2 in favor of the term sheet. Yippee!!
 
Did Pannell have a stroke or something? She seemed kinda off tonight from how she normally is.
 
He's really backtracking because last year he voted FOR and it was a worse deal. The risks to the city with this deal are FAR less.

Congrats! Annoying process but has to be done. Im guessing NBA already has the term sheet or will get it faxed to them. I am sorry but i just cant see how the NBA could turn the the City of Sacramento down. It is so obvious. Both cities have arena deal but team is already in Sac-town. So why make them move. Just give Seattle an expansion team. If not, let Seattle keep looking for a team. This team has matched and went beyond the NBA wishes.
 
Fong is an idiot too. The people that probably called and wrote letters were NOT even in his district. They find a guy that's on the bubble and spam him with letters saying they refuse the deal ect ect.

Right. Now it's about all of us in Sacramento who have worked so hard to get to this point to do one last big pull - convince majority of NBA owners to support our bid over the Seattle bid. YES TO SACRAMENTO!!

According to a current minority owner of the Kings, the Maloofs never intended to build an arena or keep the team in Sac.

If that minority owner can come forward and speak directly with the NBA that would be awesome. He's basically letting out of the bag what we all in Sacramento knew for years. Something didn't smell right with the Maloofs.

April 3rd is next step. That is next wednesday! The new owner from India said he knows some owners and want him in. I know the Kings can get 5 votes. I really do! But i dont know how many you are suppose to get. I think it is 5 votes from the owners to over turn.
