That's what I'm thinking, figured I'd check. =DI think you are alone...![]()
Vastly superior defender as well.he is actually very skilled! reminds me of marcus thornton the way he can get the ball into the hoop but with more playmaking skills for his teammates.
Definitely have to make a trade. Thornton for a sf would be the move I'd look to make. Either that or see what you can get for IT. Waiters brings defense and an ability to get to the rim similar to Tyreke. Might not look like an ideal fit on paper but I think it could end up playing out well on the court.Problem with drafting Waiters is that someone on the roster has to be traded. Talent wise, I have no problem with Waiters but I don't know who to get rid of to make room for him.

Swapping with GS at #7 would be ideal.I'm not completely against Waiters if MKG is off the board, but not at 5, as I'd rather trade down to pick him up.
Selecting him would require a mass roster change where we'd probably have to trade assets at a lower value due to the glut of perimeter players, and I don't know if he's really that much of an upgrade over what we currently have.
Wow... that would qualify as a huge surprise I think.NBADraft.net updating their mock every half hour. They now moved Waiters to #4.
P.S. First casualty of the day - DX crashed.

That draftnet draft has mkg going to the wiz and us taking Robinson.Well....
We are almost assured that Waiters did get a guarantee.
I could almost see this, considering that Cleveland took Tristan Thompson at 4 last year.
If this is the case, and if the Bobcats take Robinson, then it means that MKG is almost certain to slip to us.
Apparently Grant's with me, lol... more importantly is whether or not Petrie is??
