Another hypothetical here...

Let's say the last day of the season, the Kings play the Lakers..and if the Kings win they lose out on the MUCH preferable draft pick. Say a drop from like 5-10 with the Woss. However, in the process by BEATING the FAKERS it knocks them out and allows the GSW to advance into the playoffs and keeps the lakers OUT of the playoffs. Is that a worthy WOSS to drop 5 spots and prevent the Lakers from entering the playoffs?

DISCUSS.

If the lakers miss the playoffs they enter the lottery and get the 14th pick. We'd be doing them a favor while blowing our own draft position. I think I'd rather watch the lakers get blown out in the first round than get a higher draft position.

1. I split your comments off into a separate thread.

2. You don't need to add the "DISCUSS"... This is a message board. It's what we do.

Yeah I hate it when people add "DISCUSS!11!". If we post, it's not like we aren't discussing.

And give The Commish a chance to send Oden/Durant to the Lakers? Are you nuts?

The Lakers are irrelevant.

This is about the Kings. And anybody who would rather see the Lakers do poorly than the Kings do well really needs to go off and start their own board centered around an irrational hatred of the Lakers. This is about the Kings, and the good of this franchise. There are no other franchises that matter when it comes down to that. And to the degree that they even care, what is good for the Kings' future is likely bad for the Lakers future. So enough with this stuff. I would just assume see the Lakers lose. But not for an instant would I so like to see the other guys lose that I would be willing to see my own team hurt in the process.

Oh good grief...are you two really that uptight? He proposed a scenario and then used the word "discuss." Not a big deal. :D

It's annoying and condescending - we encourage folks to be neither of those as much as possible. ;)

It's also a pet peeve of mine, so yes, some of us really are "that uptight" about it.

This is not a classroom where the rest of us are taking orders from a professor on what to talk about. If it is worth discussing, we will.

thanks guys, I never meant it to be 'condescending'. I guess it was unnecessary, but I think warhawk might be the type to go erase the whiteboard if their is one little half inch pen mark on it. ;-) lol

When I was in school we didn't have whiteboards. They were green. And people called them blackboards. And we used chalk. Maybe they started out black but turned green when too much chalk got on them?

Wait, where was I? ;)
