Andrew Bogut?

Gregorius

G-League
I was just watching Utah play and I was just really amazed with Andrew Bogut's play. He didn't score that many point because of the amount of double teams and sometimes tripple teams he is getting in the tournament, but when he wasn't double teamed he schooled the guy who guarded him.

When he was double teamed, and often when he wasn't he made some really great assists and a lot of passes that should have been assists but his teammates got fouled or blocked, (he would have had a triple double if passes that result in a shooting foul counted as assists). He ended up with 7 assists.

I've just been really impressed with what I have seen from him and I've been wondering what kind of trade could Petrie pull of to get his draft rights? He could fill the high post perfectly I think.

No thanks we already have a big, slow, white guy that can pass. We don't need another.

his aussie!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehehe :)...
played well against tim duncan in the olympics...
his alot better now than he was in the olympics....
it would be fun seeing him play along side brad miller cuz he can pass and is said to be a brada miller meets vlade divac....
hope petrie can make a deal on draft day....

Sactownkid. Have you actually seen him play?

He'll go to high up in the draft. I doubt Petrie could pull it off.

Yes I have. He seems like a really good player but he is a little too similar to Brad Miller for my taste. Bogut has just about the same physical abilities of Brad as well and I think the Kings are attempting to battle redundancy in the line up. I would rather have a tough defensive minded big man coming behind Brad.

Bogut had 3-5 blocks in the game, and the annoncers kept commenting on how the other team would awkwardly change their shot to avoid being blocked by Bogut and ended up missing.

So yeah, he's a big defensive presence.

Even though he is a pretty good shot blocker I wouldn't call him a big defensive presence. I have seen numerous times players drive right around him to the basket. If we had Brad and him on the floor at the same time our interior defense would be somewhat similar to that of having Webber and Miller on the floor at the same time, and we all know how horrible that was. He and Brad both lack foot speed and leaping ability. We need somebody to offset the others weaknesses.

Bogut is awesome and will be great in this league as a Hawk or Bobcat or who ever is the worst team in the league.

The level of athleticism ratchets up just a tad in the NBA...Chris Mihm was a pretty good shotblocker in college, too.

I watched the game too, and the kid really impressed me. Few of his assists ere just amazing and led to dunks. I don't think I would mind having him on my team

i like this bogut kid too -- hes got some game.
about mihm, he's got some game to him too! a little scrappy type of player, i think teams just didn't utilize him enough.

I think Chris Mihm doesn't utilize himself enough, especially when he picks up a foul or two... he just gives up, hangs his head and doesn't make any plays.
