Meantime, according to a league source, the Nets and Cavaliers are prepared to offer five-year contracts with a first-year salary of around $4 million to Wizards restricted free agent forward Andray Blatche when the free agency period opens July 1.

Should Blatche sign with another team, the Wizards would have seven days to match the offer and sources indicated yesterday that Ernie Grunfeld plans on keeping Blatche, who is entering his third season with the team.

Too much attention actually. We can't compete with that. They are going to blow their entire MLE on Blatche, for a 5yr $20+mil contract? that's jsut...it could work out. But I think its almost got to take most everyone, us included out of the running. Huge huge risk.

yeah i've seen blatche play a few times and he has some range for a pf, i think he's worth picking up, but for the right price of course, but 1st i think we should pursue m. willams.
