And the winner is....

It seems to me that the real winner in this whole relocation saga is the city of Sacramento. After a decade of arena proposals and their subsequent failures, Sacramento now realistically has a chance to add a top notch entertainment facility as the crown jewel of a new downtown entertainment hub. The jobs and the dollars that will result from this type of growth is exactly what the city of Sacramento needs. It hasnt been an easy road, but if the path we have been lead down as kings fans leads to a new arena, then the angst will have been worth it. This new arena is bigger than the Maloofs, and it is bigger than the Kings. Sacramento is the true winner in this whole ordeal.

I like the positive tone - like you said after all the angst. But now the REAL angst begins with city of Sac winning absolutely nothing yet - except a stay of execution. By finally having a REAL deadline in front of them all they did was get off death row and hopefully are now - FINALLY - going to get off their collective as*ses to actually build a new sports and entertainment facility.
