SF - Murray / Hunter / McDermott
PF - Zion / Johnson / Crowder
C - Sabonis / Sharpe / Len
Monk, Ellis, Murray, Hunter, Johnson, & Sabonis is a heck of a lot of shooting around Zion, and we’d have really good forward depth to stay afloat in case Zion is battling an injury (not to mention our designated iron man and floor raiser in Sabonis to keep us competitive during the regular season). I’m sure Monk would love to have a legit lob threat in Zion to pass to and he can get out in the fast break with him as well. I’m sure a high-low game of Sabonis to Zion could be very effective as well.
Defensively is where we’d have the biggest question marks. I don’t think anyone in that rotation is a huge liability or turnstile, but we’d need to lean on Ellis, Carter, & Murray to be our stoppers/defensive playmakers with guys like Johnson, Hunter, etc. playing solid on that end of the floor.

A poll with only the Kings "Who leaves / who comes" players (realistic) possibilities listed would be interesting. But no picks included to make it simple. I don't have the skills to make a poll if someone wants to try it. It would be quite a task. It is pouring rain and there is no football, so posting it would develop into a summary of the 81 pages, so far, of conjecture.

Maybe it's just I'm so numb to this stupid team, that a Zion package is growing on me. Just go for maximum "fun" at this point.
I'm not on the Zion train. But for those who are, the Pels losing DeJounte Murray to an achilles injury might be the final push they need to blow things up.
It's not my first, second or third option, but I'd much rather roll the dice on Zion rather than retreads like Beal/LaVine/Grant/Kuzma, etc. Best case with Zion is you get a top 10 player on the cheap, as unlikely as it is he stays healthy. Best case with the Beal/LaVine tier is we're like slightly better than we are now?

I disagree. We are 3.5 games out of 5th and have been playing well. Playing well without/despite Fox. We seemed to be better with Monk running things and if we can plug in a Collins type player next to Sabonis or even a legit backup center we are a better team. I don’t buy the “we are going nowhere fast”
Also, over our next 12 games we play Portland, Utah, Charlotte, NO 3 times lol, GS and Orlando at home and an injured Dallas and Minny team. Lots of winnable games.

No, I totally get the rationale. The issue for me is that Zion isn't just injury prone, he doesn't seem to care enough to take the type of steps that could avoid future injuries. I think the odds of him staying healthy long enough to be a difference maker are very close to zero.

Agreed. And if Kings fans are put off by Fox's inability to find the extra gear consistently, his aloofness, his ambivalence, and his low-key moodiness, they'd be in for a real treat with Zion, who just doesn't seem to care about basketball at all.

I don’t know if it’s sustainable, but right now and over the last 6 months he has dropped a lot of weight and is in good shape. He’s still not playing much but at least has put in the effort recently. I think there’s a ‘don’t be fat’ clause in his contract as well

It’s embarrassing listening to national media podcasts who keep saying the Kings need a player back to replace Fox.

They don't necessarily need a PG back in the trade to replace Fox in the lineup, but they will eventually need to figure out how to replace the pressure he puts on a defense, especially if they're going to continue to be a below-average three-point shooting team. Even if DDR decides he wants to stick it out with a post-Fox Kings team, he's not a long-term solution as a go-to option.
