It's not as far off as you might believe. In a large number of places, the woman's place was in the home and her job was to raise the children and serve her husband.

^ yeah and it's a job that probably a lot of women today would still relish. unfortunately for those women the cost of living is too high so they need to work.

Stay-at-home-mom is a job that a lot of today's women may relish, and not be able to afford.

I dont know a whole lotta women that I believe relish "a-good-wife-always-knows-her-place" (and the place I assume that is refrring to is "subservient, and two steps back")




btw, MY wife is a stay-at-home-mom, and I have to agree that it is the way to go (once again-if you can afford it)
