Ailene Voisin: On bench, Thomas justified in frustration

Before he disappeared, Kenny Thomas could play. You would have to wipe the dust off his career highlight video, but it's all there. The stats. The athleticism. The long arms and soft, capable hands. The rebounds. The defense...

poison is trying to make us feel sorry for Thomas? come on look at his last line. about the checks keep coming. If it was really about the game and he really wanted to play he has made over 40 mil in his career and had he opted out before this season (which he had a chance to do) he could have still signed a contract worth about 2 or 3 mil a year. Instead he chose to take the extra 5 mil and sit the bench for 2 more years. Now if he never had a chance to get out of his contract and he has passion and really wanted to play the game. Then yes I would feel sorry for him. But as the stituation stands I don't.

False premise? Check.
Obligatory Webber dig? Check.
Shamless attempt to stir the pot? Check.

Just your average Voisin column. Can't they just hire Tom Ziller and be done with it?

I'm not sure how that last line by Kenny will help him look appealing to any teams when his contract is up. What a stupid thing to say.

I think it might be safe to say that Kenny Thomas will be the new Olden Polynice whenever he leaves here and comes back. Keep running your mouth Kenny, keep running your mouth...

When he leaves here he'll be lucky to make a team, yet alone see the floor. Thanks Voisin for reminding me of this cancer...

I didn't even read the article I just went to the last line of it. lol Wow, friggin' K9.

Didn't Polynice get arrested for impersonating a police officer after his days in Sac? Or do I have that twisted in my head for some reason..

Yeah he did. Too bad we can't arrest Kenny for impersonating a basketball player.

What? No mention of the rippling muscles?

And so, as expected, the Bee continues to find ways to irritate the fan base. If there's no conflict, they're certainly going to do their best to create one.

Nothing to see here. Move on...

;)

You know things aren't so bad when Kenny Thomas is your cancer. He's been the most non-threating, quite, player ever labeled "cancer". He's a care bear...

Considering how awful we've been the past few years, it's amazing there hasn't been more turmoil coming from the lockerroom. If he was more of a nuisance he may actually help us, but he's mediocre in that respect too.

What little headache he has given, the FO deserves it all.

Or like other Kings haven't complained, griped, whined or otherwise contributed to a gloomy locker room. John Salmons would never be confused with Mr. Sunshine. Mikki Moore could freeze a cup of coffee with his cold stares. Brad Miller often was morose. Even in the good times, Webber was moody and mercurial, and a chronic pain for team executives.
