I hope DMC and the Kings take Webber on his offer.

Webber said he saw Cousins late Thursday and gave him a combination scolding/pep talk. He also offered to work with the Kings' young star during the offseason, and in the meantime, serve as a long-distance mentor.

Its exactly what everyone wanted. Made contact with McHale too, who of course is pals with Webb now as well, so all around this All Star weekend could be a real good thing for Boogie's development.

I expect great things from DMC the rest of the season. Looks like he and the team have moved past the incident and possibly grown because of it.

I like this. Especially given Webber's headcaseness his first few seasons in the league. It really will validate any advice he gives to Demarcus as he's been through it all too.

Plus it would be a nice passing of the torch from our last franchise bigman to our future one.
