I had always heard that Burkle had to take a background role, because he was going to be part of a bid to take over AEG. AEG owns a percentage of the Lakers, and Burkle could not be part owner of two NBA teams. Now that AEG is off the block, Burkle could have a full on stake in the Kings. Do you think he will be a MUCH bigger part of the deal now ? Maybe even a larger percentage than Mastrov ?

Maybe, I don't think at this point anyone wants to rock the boat by changing up the deal too much, bu it is obvious that the NBA expects another 70-80 million in the offer and Burkle does have that kind of money. Also once the team is bought it will also need a cash infusion if the new owners want to hire top talent at the GM/Head Coach positions and attracting the best FA's possible.
