Admit it

The issue when bringing up the Fox for Sabonis deal is that the Pacers did NOT want Fox in return. I am not convinced that we would've received as good of a return for Fox as we did for Haliburton, even if that 2nd team was not Indiana, and the player we received in return for Fox was not Sabonis.

I'm more inclined to believe that the Beam Team would've never been had Fox been dealt instead of Hali.
I still believe the decision at the time was Hali for Domas vs. Fox for Randle….just a hunch on my part. At that point the rumors were that Fox didn’t have great value around the league so it would have been a little bit of both the Knicks and Kings hitting a change a scenery reset on those two players. I don’t think that would have been a popular trade for Kings fans at the time, but I always wonder if that would have worked out better. Hali/Randle and assume we still get Keegan as now a SF/wing. Fill the center spot with more of a defensive anchor.

It’s crazy how stats are born. Let’s face it the pacers are a much better team than the Kings sans Sabonis or Hali. It’s not like Hali turned the team around. He is a key piece but let’s not act like he is MJ

The only thing I admit is that there has not been any real Kings news since Doug Christie was hired on a permanent basis.

Like, nothing.

Yeah, that's potentially the real wild-card this off-season. Perry is tied to absolutely nobody, outside of Christie. So while we have our own pre-conceived notions about who should stay or go, Perry has no ties to anyone on the roster.

Yeah, I'm curious about what his approach is going to look like. Pretty much the only thing we know about his actual views on this roster (beyond generic incoming-GM-speak) is that he's had a rather dim view of Zach LaVine in the past. And LaVine is likely the most difficult piece on this roster to move.
