Adam Morrison to the Lakers

Dang, I guess I never realized how high up Adam Morrison was taken. I'm thinking he will always be that high energy Anderson Varajao type of player. I always doubt undersized bigs...

Many had him pegged as a bust at that high a pick (me too). That wasn't the greatest of drafts overall, tho. Only 3 real stars and only a handful of serviceable players after that.

to the people who thought that salmons couldnt be moved.... how in the hell did radmonovic get traded? i wouldve been down for that trade in a heartbeat. cuts a year off of the contract and morrison is a young player, if he pans out fine, if not dont resign him. lakers did a hell of a job on that one. granted morrison isnt that great but they dont need him to be great.

My Spokane hero! a F n LAKER! OUCHH. he is my favorite none king. i wish him not lakers luck. that gold is going to be ugly.

Adam Morrison has been an absolute catastrophe in the NBA--his PER is absolutely horrific. Most players that bad are usually hidden in their bench, but Morrison is even more exposed because the Cats (particularly in his rookie year) kept riding on his coattails and giving him playing time. I've always been skeptical about him--he just doesn't have a specialized niche in his offense, and he can't do anything else. He can't shoot, he can't pass, he can't defend. At least Redick can shoot--Morrison is more comfortable doing a little bit of everything offensively, but his lack of footspeed and athleticism (and perhaps injuries) have really hindered this aspect of his game. Three years down the line, not sure if he's NBA material at all. Some say his off the ball game fits in the triangle, and I guess we'll see--but if he can't succeed with the Lakers, he can't succeed anywhere. Maybe he'll be a good player in Europe.

Basically I think LA gets the better of this... All radmanovic did was shoot 3s anyway, I'm sure Morrison can do that.

Radmanovic is a proven scorer, a better 3 point shooter. He had a defined role and played it well. morrison is still trying to figure out what he is. he has a nice shot, and coming out of college that was supposed to be one of his strenghts, but it never materialized. Reddick is having the same problem too. I guess Lakers needed the $ relief, I can't see them doing this for any other reason. Vlad was more athletic, could play 2 positions... Morrison is not athletic, and is coming off the worst surgery you could have on your knee. weird.

Hair support for Sasha.

He will also teach Sasha how to go from being a cry baby on the court to actually showing him how to cry on the court.

I agree I liked Vlad Rad, he grew on me, but Phil didnt play him, he was incosistent as heck and his contract sucks.

This helps the Lakers save money and maybe opens the door to signing both Odom and Ariza in the offseason.

I have not seen much of Morrison but whatever we get from him is a plus. If he blows, he sits and if he doesnt great.

Good move Mitch.

According to Kevin Ding, Vlad's last offense after his alarm clock malfunction was showing up to practice with slip on Vans. What a d-bag. Serbian Spicoli. I also read a tidbit about him during a big Euro bball game and one of the coaches found him off by himself eating a banana.

The longer you watch this game, the more you see.

That was 2002 WC in Indy.

What's that bit about slip on Vans?

I'm not sure about this, but I don't think you can trade an injured player. Felton is reported to be out for the year.

He played tonight, so I guess he's back. Wallace is still sidelined though, and likely will be for awhile.
