Im not brave enough to put any pictures with my mug in it, I'll just post some sights.

Here the east part of the city of Osaka

Here is the temple that the last picture taken was from

The city of Kyoto in the day

Here is Kyoto at night, has a Vegas/New York feel to the city

People in Japan were really as nice as you think they are (Not to the point where it gets ridiculous like on TV shows or movies).

The taxi drivers help you with your bags and actually smile and wave, and they don't accept tips (tipping is not part of the culture).

Most places were tax free too.

You can go pretty much everywhere by subway/bullet train. The airport was connected to the station (airport is on a man made island). The stations are pretty much connected to everthing, like the malls (malls had supermarkets for basement floors). It was really convenient.

Oldest part of Kyoto. The homes and schools were between here and the big cities.

Section of the temple area.

I wasn't a fan of Japanese culture untill I went there. The people there alone made me want to visit again someday.

Okay, this answers my "where the heck has Mad D been?" question.

Great pictures! Thanks so much for sharing them.

Did you find any Kings fans there? ;)

Thank you for the pictures, honorary grandson. You would have been fine posting your picture, silly. You are a fine looking young man.

Okay, on to Japan................those are wonderful pictures. I pray that somehow I will be able to afford to visit Japan. It is at the top of my list of places to visit.
