Personally I'd rather have Tyreke. I've never been a big chris paul fan, plus he'd just bolt for New York while New Orleans "reked" the benefits from a player who is only going into his third season and is still on a rookie deal. I'd throw up if petrie traded tyreke

So 1st it was some people saying no to Cousins for Howard ( which I can actually understand), now its a no for Tyreke for Paul? I think there is some serious homerism going on when some people are scoffing at deals that would land 2 1st team All-NBA players who are still very young. And yes I know that Paul wouldn't resign here. This more has to do with some people saying they wouldn't do the trade anyways.

See last half of season before last and first half of last season. For whatever reason Marcus exploded onto the scene with Collison and faded away with Paul in the line-up. Monty William's bizarre benching of Marcus due to a "lack of defense" notwithstanding.

Yes.

I'm also wondering if anyone's looked at Marcus Thornton's performance with Tyreke vs. without/a little of Tyreke. They didn't play that many games together. Tyreke was missing from a few and came off the bench in others.
