A couple trade ideas

Another Trade idea its kind of a what were you thinking but here goes...

NO X SAC trade

Sacramento Trades
Ron Artest
Shelden Williams
one of the 2nd round pick

New Orleans Trades
David West
Rasual Butler

I know NO would be crazy to trade west and get another Forward who is on a player option this year but think about it.... what did NO lack in the playoffs.... toughness and Defense against Manus threes.. and since we need a PF who can rebound and score theres David West his trade value may have gone up...

trading artest would give NO a much improved Defense he can play on SG or PF at the same time since he can defend from 1-4 they can develop Hilton Armstrong...

on the other hand we would get a PF who can help score and we can clear the log jam on the forward spot

so the line up would be

Pg: Udrih/draft pick
Sg: Martin
SF: Garcia
PF: West
C: Miller/hawes

Next step trade btwn bulls and kings

Sac
Brad miller
John Salmons
future 2nd round pick

Bulls
Tyrus Thomas
Larry Hughes

so the final line up

Pg: Udrih/2nd round draft pick
Sg: Martin/ Hughes/douby
SF: Tyrus Thomas/Garcia
PF: West/first round pick/moore
C: Hawes/1st round

then draft Deandre Jordan if he drops to us :P

pretty young team and does not look good on paper but if all those young ones have a break out year :D

I'm curious.. Why does New Orleans do this? I know you mentioned that NO would be dumb to trade West so I won't harp on you much for that. But NO does not do that trade.

As for getting Tyrus Thomas. This kid is so overrated it's not even funny. He's the classic case of a tremendous athlete picked because of having an alleged "high ceiling" that was based on pure athleticism. He hasn't proved a thing except that he's inconsistent.

Larry Hughes has two more years, so the Bulls being able to dump him on the Kings is like an early Christmas present. You think that Salmons doesn't do to well off the bench, wait until you see Hughes. HORRIBLE... He needs the ball to be effective, so if he's starting and doesn't get his touches he wouldn't be that effective.... Now picture him with LESS touches than that coming off the bench.. It's that bad.

Okafor is a free agent. (I think)

Drafting a center with our pick and starting Spencer could open the door for early cap space by trading Miller to the Cavs for Wally Szcerbiak whose contract expires after next year. Then proceed to trade Salmons who is struggling when coming off the bench for Mike Conley from memphis if the Grizzlies pick oj mayo with their 5th pick.

would look like this

5. Spencer / draft pick
4. Moore / williams
3. Artest / Sczerbiak
2. Martin / Garcia
1. Beno / Conley

The Grizz could get a way better deal for Conley than Salmons. And I doubt the Cavs do that deal when they already have Z, Big Ben, and Varejao on their roster

I can, 1.8 blocks bpg, 3.2 ppg, 6.5 rbg 1.2 apg in the playoffs Big Ben is expendable. Anderson varejao 4.2ppg 5.2 rbg .7 apg in the playoffs also not terribly impresive. Big Z and Miller would be one heck of a one two punch in terms of big guys. Also if memphis gets o.j why the heck would they turn down salmons who plays very well while starting he can give them 20ppg easy.
