1) To Portland : Mike Bibby + Francisco Garcia + Kenny Thomas + 2nd '08
To Sacramento : Zach Randolph + Jarrett Jack
Reasoning: Portland does this because Garcia is more useful to them than Jack as they are getting a top starting PG, therefore there is less need for Jarett Jack. Only bad part about this is KT's contract obviously, which is the only reason the Kings do this. Portland also seems to be ahead in their rebuild phase. They lose Randolph and his huge contract, but he is easily replaced by Oden. Sacramento does this for the PF that they have wanted for so long. Albeit, Randolph is no Garnett and has a huge contract, Randolph is still serviceable and still young enough to be a piece of the future (maybe). The Big bonus is the unloading of KTs contract which is the only reason the kings do this.
2) To LA Lakers : Ron Artest + SAR + Quincy Douby
To Kings : Andrew Bynum + Kwame Brown + 1st '08
Reasoning: Artest is an elite talent, but what some have said is right, he will not excel in Sacramento and will only hinder the progression of guys like Marting if he's going to be jacking 3's at the end of games. The Lakers may be in a panic to make some changes fast and Kobe has expressed before that he wants Artest on his team. Kobe + Artest (If they can share) will be dynamic at both ends of the floor. SAR will be very usefull off the bench or even as their C. Lakers also get rid of Kwame Browns big contract (although an expiring), but have to give up some youth in the process, although getting back a guard with high potential.
3) To Toronto: John Salmons
To Sacramento: Juan Dixon + 2nd '08
4) Sign Gerald Wallace to a contract even if we have to overpay a little, just not too much. He would be awesome obviously, but this might just be a pipe dream.
5) Sign Morris Peterson
Jarett Jack / Price / Dixon
Kevin Martin / Dixon
Gerald Wallace / Mo Pete
Zach Randolph / Justin Williams
Brad Miller
The team might not look too strong for next year, but can potentially overperform as the pieces are there. Miller should bounce back hopefully and Randolph and Wallace are there to pick up on his deficientcies.
Comments are really welcome. There may be a bit of fantasy involved here, but thats why Im not Geoff Petrie
But constructive criticism is always welcome
