Yeah, this is pretty Kangzy but there's only 8 suited tonight so... This was always going to come down to the head to head tanks. The Jazz game and the Nets games are it. The Kings got horrible at the wrong time with way too much of the season left and now they are just playing free with no pressure. The fact that the Kings are doing it behind players that are either FA's or vets is this franchise to a T however.
Well, on the bright side, at least there'll be enough qualified statlines to award Big Man of the Night.

I was told I'm just a hater and the Kings are developing the young guys. Man these guys Russ and Demar touch the ball 90% of the time, they must be in their early 20s getting in some good development reps for us next year! Very promising season incoming!

No one should go to bed worried about whether the Kings will win too much before the season ends. I don't understand people being upset as if they aren't going to lose 6 in a row right after this
I mean, you can say that, and I'll give Cardwell a pass because he's coming back from injury, but there's no reason for DeRozan to have 35 minutes and Hayes to have 7, unless Christie is just out there like, "**** that pick! They're going to fire me, anyway, what do I care if they win the lottery?"

Well, they really didn't tonight. This wasn't that game. The young guys did that, this was the offense being run through DeMar and Russ all the way through.

Remember last season when we went all out to win a meaningless game to chase the play-in and lost out on a first round pick??
Who said that? I know that a ton have people have said that the Kings should be developing the young guys...

We were never going to finish at the bottom due to schedule. Easiest remaining schedule amongst the bad teams. That’s the beginning and the end of it. We are probably going to finish 4th and then it’s going to take LUCK to land a franchise player. I’ve accepted that, there is a really good player to be had when we pick no matter where it is, just got to get it right.

It does seem to make a difference.
I saw people in the Pacers [Game] thread telling you that the kids care about winning games. People telling you that the Kings were doing a good job developing them (or even developing them at all)? Not so much.You'll just have to revisit the Pacers game thread

And this is the problem remaining for any tank plans. The Kings are in the worst spot possible. Precious is going full contract year, teams are figuring the Kings are an night off, and Westbrook and DeMar have nights where they are super motivated.
