It is really crazy that this is probably going to be this for the rest of the year. Throughout the years at least April has been reserved for the young guys. It really might not be this time, lol.
This is why I have already checked out a long time ago. I hate tanking in the NBA, but I get pissed off every time this team wins a game now. Not worth the mental anguish at this point in my life. I peek in here every once in a while, but more of a slow down and stare at the car crash vibe…no judgement against any of you still watching these games, but I just can’t anymore.

I'm calling on the Kings org to send Doug Christie as their representative to the NBA Draft Lottery. After all, who could be more responsible for the number of ping pong balls that the Kings have to play with than Christie? He's making this ping pong ball pie, so why not let him partake in it? With the Kings winning three out of their last four, and 5-5 in the last 10 games, he is showing everybody he is a winner! It's not his fault he took three quarters of the season to get the hang of it; he's learning the ropes, after all. Thirty-seven minutes of playing time last night for the elders - DDR and Westbrook - for a team that is supposedly in a youth movement, shows how much he is willing to sacrifice to win! I can see him now grinning from ear to ear and sucking in a big waft of smelling salts as those white little balls fly.

Nique hit the dagger three and Max was getting Baby Jokic praise from Mike Malone all night on the ESPN broadcast. Dylan looked rusty but he still made some nice effort plays whilst also getting destroyed by Kawhi on multiple switches. Plowden continues to look like a good 3-and-D wing. In other words, aside from Hayes only getting six minutes (and his contract is up in a few days so maybe they’re just phasing him out), all the guys who are definitely at least rebuild adjacent played good hard minutes. Just gotta figure out how to keep Precious without paying him 15 mil a year lol
No one is going to pay these guys based on end of year numbers. Teams always look at these numbers with suspicion.
